The grant program is open to all owners of historic agricultural buildings that are eligible for the National Register of Historic Places in Vermont. Funds will be awarded for a variety of projects such as foundation, framing, and/or roofing repair. The selection criteria listed in the accompanying manual will be used to rank and rate all the projects, using a competitive numerical scoring system. The Vermont Advisory Council on Historic Preservation will review and select the grant recipients in February 2009. All applicants will receive written notification of the results by early March.
Please read the entire manual before completing the application. Please pay special attention to the photo requirements and allow time in your planning for producing good photographs. If you have any questions, or want to request a paper copy of the application and manual, please call us at (802) 828-1220.
We look forward to receiving you application. Good luck!
Sincerely,
